The Ring Tag action is available in a Paired Asset’s list preview or detail screen. This action is not available on the tag pages or for unpaired Assets.

Once the Ring Tag button has been clicked, a success toast will indicate that the action has been successfully initiated. Within a few seconds, the button state with change from Ring Tag to Cancel Ring Tag. It is possible to click the button again to cancel the Ring action.

This will fire off a command to a Gateway that is near the Tag (see Tag Ringing for more details on that logic). Once a nearby Gateway connects, the system will issue it the command. At that point, the user is not anymore allowed to revoke the Tag Ring command and an error message is displayed if the user attempt to cancel:

Once the Tag has finished ringing, the button will change back from Cancel Ring Tag to Ring Tag.
