System Hierarchy Overview

The system has 3 different layers that are used to group devices (equipment, assets, locators, gateways, tags, beacons, zones, theft cases, etc.) and permission users to those groups of devices. These 3 layers are: Organization, Company, and Location.

Location Administrator

View data of all the devices within a Location

Create, edit and remove devices within a Location

Pairing & unpairing devices within a Location

Enable & disable Theft Recovery

Manage users within a Location

Edit Location data (name, alert rules...)

Company

Company User Roles

Company Viewer

Company Editor

Integrations Admin

Company Administrator

View data of all the devices within a Company and its Locations

Create, edit and remove devices within a Company and its Locations

Pairing & unpairing devices within a Company and its Locations

Enable & disable Theft Recovery

View and manage Company level Integrations

Manage users within a Company and its Locations

Create new Locations within a Company

Edit Company data (name, automatic transfer settings, etc)

Move equipment, equipment types and locators between Locations within a Company

Organization

Organization User Roles

Organization Administrator

Everything all Location and Company level roles can access (except for Integrations Admin)

Create new Companies and Locations within an Organization

Move equipment and locators between Locations within an Organization

Manage users within an Organization its Companies and Locations
