Location Overview
On the location overview page, you can view information such as your lot size, dealer ID, and operating hours. Operating hours are used to control whether or not you receive certain "After Hours" alerts.
Set your location to open or closed on each day of the week
Set the time your operations begin and end on each day of the week
Select the timezone of your location (this is important for alerts!)
For the opening and closing time, it's important to use the time that your employees arrive and leave, not when you officially open. This is because the hours are used to trigger email/text alerts for "After Hours Alerts."
Operating Hours Schedule
Within operating hours, you can create multiple schedules. One schedule will be the active schedule, which will be used for all alerts/etc. Users can change the active schedule at any time. Schedules are helpful ways to create alternate weekly operating hours you might need without touching your default hours.
For example, let’s say your location is undergoing renovations for three weeks. During those three weeks, you will open 2 hours later than normal. You could create a new schedule called “Renovation Schedule” and set it to active during the three weeks construction is happening, without changing your normal schedule.
Operating Hours Overrides
You can all add overrides to a type of operating hours. An override changes the operating hours for a specific calendar date. This is incredibly useful during the holiday season, where you may be closed for Thanksgiving. Instead of creating an entirely new schedule for that week and setting it as the active schedule for only that week, you can add an override that says your business is closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Note: Overrides affect all schedules, not just your default.
