To pair a locator to a piece of equipment from the native app, you will need to start by navigating to the Equipment page.

Selecting Equipment

You can then click on the "Pair" button at the top of the screen. Alternatively, you can click on the piece of equipment that you are interested in pairing in the list and select "Pair" from within the pop-up menu of the equipment.

If you click on the Pair button at the top of the screen, you will need to select the option to Pair and search for the equipment that you are pairing. If you already clicked into pair from within the equipment pop-up, the equipment will be pre-selected for you.

Selecting a Locator

Once your equipment is selected, you will be asked to enter the locator you'd like to pair. You can search for the locator by typing in the Locator ID, which is visible on the back of the locator and starts with "KRG". After you enter at least 3 characters, you will start to see a list of suggested options to select your locator:

You can also search the locator by clicking on the barcode scanner icon and scanning the QR code on the back of the locator.

Entering Pairing Information

Once you've selected your locator, you will be prompted to enter the Installation Location (required) and upload an Installation Image (optional) to show where the locator was installed on the equipment. Once you've entered the required fields, you will be able to click the Next button to continue.

Confirm & Pair

Finally, you will be asked to confirm the pairing details. As long as all of the information looks correct, you can simply hit "Pair" and then you're done! You can click "Done" to close out of the pairing window or click "Pair Another" to start the process for another equipment.

Unpair

To unpair a locator from equipment, simply find the equipment in your Equipment list by scrolling or using the "Search" button. Once you've found the equipment, click on the card and click "Unpair". Simply enter the reason for unpairing and click "Unpair".
